Bud,Kurt,Jamie,Keith,Dennis*,Peter, Kris,Grant,Elio*,Bill,Dale*,Ian,Ross*,all showed up to put the equipment away and have some Nick's Pizzas,thanks to Mark,Calgary beer,thanks Doug,Sleeman's beer,thanks Grant.It's was a GREAT SEASON thanks to the above Guys plus Biagio*,Rick,Dave*,Jr,Lloyd* and Andrew,who couldn't make tonight's party.
Season Highlites include; this blog,thanks to Jamie,Kurt doing all he does, as well as hauling in snow at the beginning,the Global T.V. Spot ,metal handles added to shovels,another runway added from upper to lower rink,we had lots of snow this season ,so much the upper rink got narrower, the car seat and shopping card,sausages from Spolumbos,lots of Pizzas From Nicks,and *these new Ice Guys.

WE ARE THE BEST,BECAUSE WE NEVER REST!

We're Done

Grant said that Tuesday the ice was ruined,the rinks where like wet sponges.
Kris said that tonight the rinks are toast.So Bud and Mr.K* went down and saw for them selves that we're finished.So we shut off the outside light and had a few beers.A Kid showed up to look and said he thought these where the best rinks in Calgary,he lives in Beddington and skated there allot this year.
So on Sunday the 15 we'll meet at 8 for THE WRAP UP PARTY and put away the nets,goalies etc and have some Nick's pizzas and some Sleemans.

Biagio,Ian,Bill,Dennis,Keith,Peter and Bud cleaned and did two coats.Thanks Team.
We are trying to figure out how much longer we have.The rinks are ok so far,but the sun is melting the nets into the ice and last year we where done by March 8th or so ,in 2007 the rinks where done by March 4th.
Hope to see you Thursday, the 5th,it's suppose to be cold and snowing,but that's the Weather report and that's not Rocket,surgery or Brain,science.Check out the Video below,thanks to Peter for posting it.

According to Today's email from Kurt. "Kris,Grant and l cleaned and did 2 coats upper and 1 medium on lower, we didn't get done until after 11,also for the record l got Bertha out and cleaned both rinks for skinny on Tuesday " I also saw Grant cleaning the rinks for skinny with a shovel later on Tuesday. Good work team and thanks for the picture.

Grant,Bud,Keith,Kris,Kurt and Dennis showed up,but it was snowing so we had a meeting.

Valentine's Party Report

About 100 people Skated,Tobogganed,Danced,ate Chili,saw Fireworks and had lots of fun.
Thanks to; Jacquie,Corinna,Jean,Tracy,Mike,Sheila and Keith for setting up the hall,and preparing salads,etc.Jacquie did the amazing table decorations,Sheila did the balloons.Bud,Kurt,Elio and Jamie cleaned the ice and set up the fire pit.
Chili, rice and salads thanks to the McHale family,Olsen family,McPherson family Cairns family,and Regan family.
Craig and Tracy provide an outstanding selection of music.Thanks to Emily and Amanda Brenan for taking care of the kids whilst the adults had fun on the dance floor.
Fantastic Fireworks thanks to Brent Brennan and his crew. Sandra,Keith,Tracy,Kurt,and Sheila ran the bar and sold tickets.
Cleanup was done by Keith,Sandra,Kurt,Tracy,Mike,Corinna,Frank Jacquie and Louise.

Bud,Keith,Peter,Elio,Jamie and Lloyd cleaned and did two coats.Both rinks looked pretty good even after last night's GREAT Valentine's Party.

Tonight,Kris,Kurt,Jamie,and Dennis cleaned and did two coats. Bud would have helped but just as the hard work started he had to go get his Dog.
The ice guys hope to see lots of folks at the party Saturday,see the note on the side bar.

Bud,Ian,Grant,Kurt and Dennis* cleaned and did one coat lower,two on the upper,both rinks are getting lots of use and wear because of the warm weather lately.
Please help us Thursday to paint the curling rings and get things ready for Saturdays Party

There's a Picture of KURT ( The Phantom ) and Bud (the number first ice guy ).I'm posting this picture because allot of people have never seen Kurt and wonder what he looks like.
Tonight we;Kris,Ian,Peter,and Bud cleaned and added two coats to both rinks.What a nice night.Oh we also had help from Caroline and Steve from Bridgeland..K ris U nder
