tonight's Report


The Alouette's beat Saskatchewan 21 to 18 to win the grey Cup the second year in a row.
After the Game; Kurt, Glenn, Jamie,Bud and Biagio (the Birthday Boy )cleaned with help from some hockey players and did two coats.
We now have 17 coats on each rink.
Hope to see you this Thursday at 8pm.

Kurt started the Whoopez-doodles and agreed we should finished cleaning and flood after Today's Grey Cup game.

We Are So Good..We Don't Have to Brag !



Graham from Brentwood and his kids Sammy , Ellie & Joey where skating in the dark, when Bud arrived at 7.45 PM. Keith helped clean and put a coat on the upper and Kurt came by and put a coat on the lower. We now have 15 coats on each, so we are ready to open this weekend.
Last year we didn't open until Dec. 12, but in 08 & 07 we open on Nov.27th.
Hope to see you Sunday at 8 PM.

Day 7,More Pictures,-14 C





My Camera wouldn't take pictures outside, so here's some of the meeting after.

Day 7, what a Night






This is how it should be; Captain Kurt, Neil, Brad, Grant, Glenn, Jeff the Rookie, Kris, Biagio the Head Guy, Grant & Bud the Idea Guy, all showed up.
No cleaning was required, so four coats got put on both rinks. As of now each rink has 14 coats.
Bud brought some Calgary Beers, GOOD JOB TEAM.

Day 6, Report -26 C


Tonight, Kurt , Bud , Biagio,& Ian cleaned using Bertha and Kurt's "Agent Orange" Blower,and added one coat to each rink. Now at 10 coats each.

Day 5 Evening News, -19 C,

Bud, Kurt, Keith, Grant, Glenn, & Ian cleaned and added two coats (8 & 9 )to each rink, plus stopped for Nick's Pizzas. Thanks Nick's.

Day 5 afternoon,pictures & video



Bud, Keith & Kurt put the nets over the windows.
Later Bud when down and saw two boys trying to play hockey.
Also today the Calgary Stampeders loss 16 to 20 to the Saskatewan Roughriders in the C.F.L. Western Final .
Good Luck to the Riders next weekend at Edmonton's Grey Cup Game against the Montreal Alouettes.

Day 4, -18-C Welcome Jeff, Welcome back Ian








Bud, Jeff, Kurt and Ian , did two coats on each rink, total 7 coats on each. It didn't snow so no cleaning was needed, yahoo.

Day 3 ,-18C







Earlier Captain Kurt, used Bertha to cleaned the lower , at 7 pm Bud cleaned the upper while Jamie flooded the lower,Kurt came by and we got two coats on the lower and one on the upper.Kids are using the tobogganing hill, life is good.
