Kid's Nets & Skate Aid.

Today, I dropped off the finished kid's nets and a skate aid, l repaired.

15th Time Kurt's Report , Temp 8 C

Kris, Jamie, Ian, John, Brad, Austin, Kurt Scraped and put one medium coat on each sheet. Dec 13th was discussed for the Flood Fest weather permitting. Everyone commented on the pole and how well the lights are working, easier to see the water go down while flooding. Now 27 coats on the lower & 26 on the upper. Monday it's suppose to snow so stay tuned for updates.

14th time, Temp 0C

These hockey players cleaned both rinks,thanks guys.

These Ice Guys; Andre' Kurt, Kris, Brad, & Bud (dressed as a pole ) added two coats to each rink .

Now 26 coats on the lower and 25 on the upper.

First Saturday Temp. 8 C at 3pm

It was a beautiful day there must have been 50 people skating and playing hockey. Look at the cars in the parking lot .

And look they are using the NEW little hockey rink on the West end of the upper (North ) rink.

We had pizzas and Calgary beers to celebrate our hard work.

Austin. John, Brad, Paulina, Kurt, Keith, & Bud added 2 coats to each so now 24 on lower & 23 on upper.We are OPEN, so now we will just Flood on Mondays & Thursdays. Good Work Boys.

Kurt's report, 13th Time

We put one(1), medium coat on each sheet tonight. WE being: Keith Claire Andre Jamie Kurt Paulina We are going tomorrow night at 8 pm come on down. Now, we go to regular shift Monday and Thursday nights at 8 pm from now on… with the occasional call to duty when we have a dump of snow. We also noticed that the light on the far north pole is not working, we should plan on replacing the bulb when we do the new pole. Thanks, Kurt Westergard a.k.a. Captain Kurt Now 22 coats on Lower & 21 on the Upper rink.

I was walking my dogs today at 3 pm and saw a lady & her son plus

our first hockey players of the season. They Loved the rinks.

12X Welcome Back Andy, -10C

Kris , Andy,Brad,Andre',Kurt,Bud,& Ian , cleaned and added two coats to each and put the benches out. now 21 coats on lower & 20 on upper.

11th time, Third Week ,Snowing and -14C

We have proof that kids had been skating and shooting at the goal on the lower.Kurt, John,Kris, & Claire cleaned and made the Woopsie -Doodles and cut out a kid's hockey area on the upper. While Bud used Bruno to clean the lower .We wanted to flood but it started snowing.

10X Started at 7 pm -14 C

Jamie called a 7 pm flood , so Jamie, Kurt, Brad, Kris, & Bud added 3 coats. Denise and " Monday Nite " Mike came down to check things out. Later a guy named Andre' shot some goals. We now have 19 coats of the lower & 18 on the upper.We plan on going every night at 8 pm but remember if it SNOWS IT'S NO GO .

9th Time , Welcome Back , Keith & "Bruno " the Snow Blower -14 C

Kris was down earlier and fired up Bruno the Blower and cleaned both rinks, later Kurt ran Bruno while , Kris, Grant,Keith, Glenn, Ian and Bud shoveled . Two coats were added to each rink and the 6 shovels were left out on the Rack. Now 16 coats on the Lower and 15 on the Upper.

8X Welcome Back Ian , Thanks Nick's & Denise , Temp -1C

Before the storm, de Team of; Ian, John, Brad, John, Kurt & Bud got two coats on the lower and one on the upper.

Followed by Nick's Pizza , thanks Mark, and Wings , thanks Denise.

We even had a couple show up to skate and John show us a new way to drain the hose.

So now we have 14 coats on the lower rink and 13 coats on the upper. We are sitting out the upcoming storm and meeting again Sunday at 8 pm after the Western Final Football Game, GO STAMPS GO!
