Brad, John, Andre and Kurt, added 3 coats on lower, two coats on upper. As we rolled up the hose it started to snow. So now 74 coats of the lower and 72 on the upper. See you tonight at 7.30 for the Wrap Up, l will bring some pizza and beer.Bud the Idea Guy

36th Time, Bud's report

Brad, Glenn. Austin, John and Bud cleaned and added two coats to each rink. Now 71 coats on the upper and 70 on the lower.

Kurt's Thursday Report 35th Flood

Hey gang, Jamie, John, Andre, Jessie and I put down three coats tonight. The upper is looking like it could go either way still good but yellowing… that time of year again. We are planning the Ice-guys wind-up party for next Friday Feb. 28th at 7:00 PM. Let me know who can make it so I know how many party hats to buy. We will flood our usual Monday and Thursday next week. The wind up party doesn't mean we will stop flooding if weather permits we can keep making it… but the party is an excuse to get out and pat ourselves on the back for a job well done! Now 69 coats on lower and 68 on upper.

Kurt's Family Day Report..34th time

Claire, Keith, Kris, Ian, Glenn, Andre, John, Kurt… laid down two coats on each. We all discussed the Wrap-Up Party and decided that the Friday Feb, 28th would be the night to say good-bye to the ice for the 2013-2014 season. Kurt, So total of 66 coats have been added to the lower & 65 to the upper.

Thursday Feb 13th the 33 time

Kurt, Andre', Biagio , Jesse and Kris cleaned and added two coats to each rink. Now 64 coats on the lower and 63 on the upper.

Grant Parks' report " Tonight at Shinny "

When I arrived at the ODR, the lower rink was shimmering like a perfect mirror. Not a single blemish marred its flawless surface. It almost seemed a shame to skate on it. In fact, we almost didn’t skate on it. It was -18C this evening which is our cut off for cancelling shinny. However, 12 hearty children showed up and were eager to play. So we decided to forego the cut-off rule and PLAY! That’s how we roll in Rosemont… Thanks for the great ice, Ice Guys.
